École du Parc: New Fransaskois School in Regina

Fransaskois families in Regina had long advocated for a new school in the city’s north end to provide access to educational facilities comparable to those available to the English-speaking majority. Thanks to the dedication of the community and the sustained efforts of the Conseil des écoles fransaskoises (CÉF), that vision has now become a reality.

The new north Regina school now welcomes students and families in modern facilities designed to meet their needs. Located on 2nd Avenue North near Ken Jenkins Park, the school occupies a strategic site that serves a growing population of Francophone families. It significantly improves access to French-language education in Regina’s northern neighbourhoods and strengthens the vitality of the Fransaskois community.

The expansion of Francophone educational infrastructure continues across the province. New school projects are currently planned for the Kensington area of Saskatoon as well as for Prince Albert, helping meet the needs of growing Francophone communities and expanding access to French-language education for more families throughout Saskatchewan.
